Organisations with large vehicle fleets and fossil fuel driven equipment have an important role to play in reducing emissions.
We have begun the transition to providing zero-emissions offshore equipment which protects, enhance and maintains critical infrastructure above and below the water.
This includes a capital investment in new and emerging technology to power equipment and not rely upon traditional fossil fuel driven supplies.
Our first equipment has been commissioned and is under trial using a combination of photovoltaics, batteries and electrically driven hardware to deliver sustainable and repeatable projects. Equipment will part-generate power harnessing energy from the sun.
May + Partners commented “our inventory of offshore equipment has included equipment powered by fossil fuels. We are now transitioning away from all fossil fuels for both onshore and offshore equipment, a step closer towards becoming carbon neutral”.
